The Challenges
Zuellig Pharma aimed to launch an exclusive program to develop a talent pool for future leadership roles. The program was called the Executive Management Program (EMP). This EMP targeted experienced top-tier MBA graduates from business schools in different parts of the world who are interested to grow their careers in Asia Pacific.
A key challenge was designing a comprehensive Assessment Center, including a complex case study to assess the candidate’s critical thinking and problem-solving skills as an individual and in a team.

The Case Study Assessment:
Understanding the requirements, Talent View designed a case study that challenged the top business schools’ MBA graduates with complex content to read, analyse, decide, present, and attend Q&A in a short time given. The case study was designed to assess the candidate’s ability to perform in a team, as well as the candidate’s ability to collaborate in problem-solving, demonstrate leadership ability, etc. It was a 4-hour session under the observation of the assessors.
Data-driven Hiring Decisions:
TalentView provided Zuellig Pharma with a comprehensive candidate review, detailing each candidate’s strengths and development areas. The talents were also ranked, equipping Zuellig Pharma with data-backed information on who is fit for their selection of future leaders.
Results
Zuellig Pharma leveraged its partnership with TalentView to identify promising future leaders. TalentView helped Zuellig Pharma make data-driven decisions in its selection process.
