The Challenges
EDC aimed to deepen its understanding of employee behaviors and attitudes toward health and safety to ensure its regulations were positioned effectively for full adoption across the organization.
The company saw an opportunity to enhance its communication plan to actively engage employees and encourage alignment with its health and safety culture, ensuring employees felt empowered and involved.
EDC sought to amplify awareness of its health and safety initiatives by delivering impactful and relatable content, supported by on-ground roadshows to drive home the importance of these efforts across its diverse workforce.

Brand Campaign Development: With TalentViewâs support, EDC now has a strong “LifeSavers” brand strategy featuring 10+1 LifeSavers practices that reinforce safety across all employees, from ground operations to office work. LifeSavers is comprised of controls each focused on mitigating high-risk activities to prevent serious injuries or fatalities.
LifeSavers Week: TalentView led roadshows across six EDC sites (Davao, Bicol, Leyte, Burgos, Negros, and the Head Office) with gamified activities and interactive sessions, supported by a communication plan with creative contents, signages, mascots, and branded materials to foster awareness and engagement.
Virtual Reality Lab: TalentView designed an immersive VR learning module simulating real-life work environments, enabling employees to practice identifying hazards and assessing risks, enhancing their safety awareness and preparedness.
Results
The 10+1 LifeSavers brand and strategic communication plan strengthened safety culture across plant workers, site teams, and office employees through a brand campaign, nationwide roadshows, and an immersive VR Lab. EDC employees are now more engaged and aware, enabling them to mitigate high-risk activities and enhance workplace safety.
